3 Favourite Cafés In Lagos: Ultimate Guide For Coffee Lovers
Lagos is the perfect spot for strolling through narrow alleys, wandering in cute surf shops and eating and drinking at the countless restaurants, cafés and bars. But where do you start?
First things first: skip Black and White Coffee Shop. This brunch spot is overhyped and there is often a line. Even though the food is good, the wait is in my opinion not worth it for the mediocre coffee.
So here are 3 spots with really good coffee you don’t want to skip on your next trip to Lagos, Portugal.
DOT Coffee
This one is by far my favourite coffee shop in Lagos. Not only has DOT Coffee a really cute interior, the owner is super nice and likes to talk about the beans and blends he uses.

My tip: Order some salted caramel sirup for your coffee or iced latte.

Indigo Bar
This Café/Bar belongs to a guest house with the same name. We have not eaten here but the coffee alone is worth a visit. Indigo Bar is small but there is always a free table and to-go is also an option of course.

Coffee & Waves
Last but not least is Coffee & Waves. It’s a surfer café with cute decoration, even the tables are on theme. I thought it was rather expensive. A granola bowl cost 8 Euros (in 2026) and it was a very small portion. The food and coffee is really good tho.

My name is Cory and my two favourite things in the world are traveling and scuba diving. You will either find me under the water or on top of a mountain. I have the PADI Advanced Certification and want to see as many marine animals as possible.
